Kari Stone-Sewalish is the Assistant Director of Assessment within the Office of Accreditation, Assessment, Curriculum and Compliance in the Office of the Provost. Within her role, Kari supports external accreditation compliance activity for the unit and leads academic program review data collection, coding, and analysis for MSU’s 200+ undergraduate programs. 

Over more than twelve years working in higher education, Kari has gained experience in academic student support, student conduct, residence life, living-learning communities, and new student orientation. Her favorite aspect of working in higher education is collaborating with students and campus colleagues to effect positive change.

Kari is originally from West Michigan and is a Spartan alum. She is a proud girl mom of two and partner to another higher education professional. Kari is a brunch enthusiast, Lake Michigan rock hunter, and an (only slightly) above average home cook.
