Dr. Stacia Moroski-Rigney is Director of the Office of Accreditation, Assessment, Curriculum, and Compliance (AACC) in the Office of the Provost and the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) at Michigan State University. She is also a graduate faculty member in Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures (WRAC). Stacia is a Peer Corps member for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a former Peer Reviewer for SACSCOC, and a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Her research extends from accreditation and assessment to first-year experience, writing program design, and writing centers.
Stacia is an event planner, a cook, a gifter, a shower singer, a TV/film buff, a WNBA fan, a Spartan, a writer, and a lover of (most) things Kentucky. Beyond her … ahem… scholarly interest in pop culture, she also relishes any time traveling; New Orleans is her favorite domestic stop, but the White Temple in Thailand is her ultimate travel destination.
